My opinion
London, in 1883: Lady Olivia Xavier forward with great success inherited by her late husband, beer brewery, which wants to tear the noble George Pryce itself. After the young widow refused to sell it, Pryce is now trying to ruthless methods to force them to back down. When his hired thugs threaten Olivia, she is from the American Will Coffin, who studied in England after his family, saved from the dangerous situation. Olivia asks him then to ensure their protection. They, however, has not thought that she falls in love with Will. But their love seems to have no future, for the better society does not accept connection to a level well below its standing and supposedly wild cowboy ...

Zoe Archer brings with her debut novel fresh air into the genre with some fresh ideas because it is treading a few not-trodden paths romance.
The author does not need lengthy introduction, she moves with the very first scenes of the reader in her story. Unpredictable twists and interesting passages provide an entertaining pastime. Yet the story has more than a few pages away a little sagging, which would have a little lift can be avoided.
Archer's writing style is fluid and catchy, the consistently successful dialogue is often highly amusing. A quote from page 121 is a fine example of the delicious pun:

? "He's not one of those whiskey-drinking cowboys, the crystal chandeliers from the ceiling and shoot tear with their horses through ballrooms, or"
Olivia laughed softly. "But yes, and his spurs the Persian rugs to add untold damage! He spits tobacco juice into the mingvase and tries to catch a rat with a lasso! "

" Only the heart knows the answer is "researched historically accurate. Moreover, the author has unmistakably informed in advance about the work processes in a beer brewery.

An outstanding Performance are the two most likeable main characters. Neither secretly Western dime novel reading Olivia still the charismatic Will fall into a drawer with the inscription 'Typical Historical Romance Hero' lane. Both practices and the development of their love are designed completely understandable.
With George Pryce, an antagonist was created, whose viciousness knows no borders, and therefore gives a very interesting player. In the development of secondary characters, the author proved a lucky hand.

Conclusion
a pleasure and with great characters provided debut, which comes as no such and with very few cliches manages why "Only the heart knows the answer is not to degenerate Romance average, which is always good to me so important and get a reading recommendation. For me it is clear that the 'newcomer' Zoe Archer comes to my personal list of favorite authors. ;)
